NEWS: HERITAGE CENTRE FOR BRAEMAR GATHERING

By Tom Robinson7th September 2017

We are delighted to be working as executive architects with The Princess Foundation for the Built Community on their design for a new Heritage Centre for the Braemar Royal Highland Society in the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park which has been the home for the Gathering for the last 110 years. The building is designed to blend with the buildings of the memorial park. The accommodation will include a gallery an exhibition hall, a café, a gift shop, and an office along with temperature controlled storage facilities for exhibits.

The gathering was a great success this year attracting visitors from far corners of the world on a glorious sunny day. The event and the place are very special. We are both honoured and delighted to be working on this project as part of a great team to deliver a building to be available for the 2018 Gathering.
