SALTIRE AWARD WINNERS

By Fiona Robinson27th June 2019

Tom Robinson was thrilled to win the Saltire Society Housing Design Award for Innovation in Housing at the Scottish parliament last night. The prize was for our ultra-eco Auchineden project /residential/projects/aucheneden. This deceptively simple-looking barn conversion was the first in Scotland to be certified to Passivhaus Enerphit standard, enabling the owner to live extremely energy-efficiently. The awards celebrate new houses that improve lives and make Scotland a better place to live.

Thank you to our client and everyone else who helped make this project happen: McDougall Surveyors for QS services, Graham Drummond at Passivhaus Associates, Peter Brett Engineers and WA Scott Builders.

We’re absolutely delighted that this project has been recognised for this. If you would like to renovate or build to a highly sustainable standard, give us a call.
