Contract Administration

While the project is under construction we administer a contract between the builder and the employer.

Administering a contract between the builder and the client must be done efficiently and correctly, requiring both experience and good judgement. It is an essential skill. To do it requires careful monitoring of progress on site, information flow, and a close eye on the quality of what is being built. Included in this process is the certification of construction work and materials on site as the building is built, to enable regular payments to the contractor. This involves careful working with the project quantity surveyor plus a firm overall grip on the time, quality and value of the building process as it occurs through the contract.
