Fiona Robinson

Director

Fiona Robinson is a founding director of Thomas Robinson Architects. She is an architect and specialist in interior architecture, and is involved on every project.

Fiona graduated from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow with a Masters in Architecture, and also has a degree in Commercial Interior Design. She worked for practices including BDP in Glasgow, Crampin and Pring (now CPMG) in London and Page/Park in Glasgow, before setting up Thomas Robinson Architects.

Her experience as an architect includes many luxury private houses, as well as social housing and public buildings. Fiona's strength and expertise is at the creative end of architecture and design projects. She has an innate understanding of what will work, and is involved in developing briefs, analysing use relationships, defining and evolving design concepts and strategies, organising space and flow, and pinpointing architectural style.

Her experience as an interior designer includes interior branding and the interior design of retail outlets and commercial offices. On projects where the practice sees the design through from very beginning to a fully complete interior design, Fiona is the lead on interior decision making.

Fiona and Tom Robinson head up this successful architectural practice and work in synergy with each other and with the rest of the team. Together, they produce exceptional buildings, working to systems that Fiona and Tom have honed over time.
