Surveys
We undertake basic measured surveys for commercial buildings and units.
An accurate topographical land survey is important as the shape, size, and slope of the site all affect what we will propose in our designs. The site will contain many features that need to be considered. Although some sites may appear open and unrestricted, there are always things either on the site or in its wider environment that need to be taken into account.
Building Surveys are obviously vitally important where a project involves works to an existing building. Usually these are carried out and drawn up by a specialist surveyor and provided in Computer Assisted Design files.
For works to complex or ornate historic buildings a laser scanned survey is often used. These can be commissioned from specialist surveying companies.
