Q1: What made you want to work within architecture?
I grew up in a house which my parents had designed for themselves. Being an unusual design and having some great qualities I was very conscious of it and thought about it as I grew up.
Q2: What has been your favourite project at TRA and why?
Jura House. I just loved visiting the island regularly and working with a big group of people.
Q3: What’s your favourite building and why?
To be honest it is probably just my own house. It’s a modest building that my wife and I designed and built for ourselves. It works well, but the fondness is due to the reward of building for oneself. It has been a big part of my life and is ongoing.
