Condition Report
Condition reports are useful decision-making documents for the owners and operators of commercial buildings.
They are mostly needed to capture repair works or to inform a decision to purchase. For every condition report on a commercial architectural project, we closely examine each material aspect and categorise by priority, sometimes bringing in other experts when required. The depth of study that the report goes into will be discussed with the client in advance and if any issues arise during the survey that warrant detailed specialist investigations, these will be highlighted.
Most often they are undertaken for the purposes of defining repairs to be incorporated into a conservation or refurbishment project. Our method of inspection and reporting involves a close examination of all of the building elements and then categorisation by priority in a manner that can be budget costed.
Often this is the first step in assisting a client with plans to improve or develop a commercial building.
